Lynbrook Holiday Concert 2014
Our annual Holiday concert series was held this week. There were two amazing evenings filled with fun, traditional and festive pieces performed by our outstanding bands and choirs. Our special New Zealand guests also delighted us with their performance of their school song in Māori and other great pieces while other visiting students joined our concert band on stage to play side by side with the Lynbrook students.

Check out our photos on Flickr of all the performances of the two nights.

Craft Faire Flyer Design Competition

posted Aug 6, 2014, 9:21 PM by LIMB Admin   [ updated Aug 26, 2014, 10:12 PM ]

To the students of Lynbrook,

We invite you to join the creative search for our new Lynbrook Craft Faire advertising sign. Become a minor celebrity in our community and neighborhood where your design of a new Craft Faire ad sign could be lining the streets as well as being prominently featured on the LIMB website. And lastly, design elements of the sign will also be used for our Craft Faire printed programs. Join the competition and create a new flyer that will attract and invite people to visit our Lynbrook Craft Faire, our biggest annual fundraiser for the music program.

Information on Sign:
School name, date, time, address, web site
[Lynbrook High School, November 22, 9am - 4pm, 1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, (]

Theme: The holidays, possibly with a pinch of a music theme mixed in.

Guidelines: Any art used should be original, if some elements are borrowed from elsewhere, please indicate that and cite the source. Don't use copyrighted material (i.e. cartoon characters from Disney, etc). The LIMB board will reserve the rights to make final design tweaks to the winning submission if deemed necessary. The design needs to be recognizable and legible on a sign 12" x 18" in size viewed from 30 feet away.

Deadline of submission: The last day for submission will be Sunday, August 31. Submissions should be sent to

Prizes: All participants who submit a design (sincere efforts) will receive a small participation prize. Additional prizes will be given to the winner and runner-up. Multiple submissions by the same person might increase the chances of winning but only one prize per person will be given out.

Judging: The judging will be done by the LIMB board and the winner will be announced shortly after the submission deadline.

Eligibility: The competition is open to all students of Lynbrook High School in San Jose.

Good Luck!
