The Lynbrook Marching Band made their first public debut at the Lynbrook Mega Reunion Family Day on Sunday.  Sporting polos and white t-shirts, they performed the traditional Alma Mater and Fight Song, as well as a special performance of the madly popular song back in the early years of Lynbrook, Hawaii Five-0.  Mr. Pakaluk, director of the instrumental program, announced to crowds. "The band started playing together on Wednesday, and they're sounding really great."

Numerous compliments were received from the alumni on how well the band played.  They were appreciative for the wonderful memories it brought back.  One of the organizers took the microphone after the band finished, and in a teary-eyed and choked up voice said how proud she was to hear the band play the Alma Mater.

LIMB also sold several vintage polos and band jackets to alumni attending the event.  The marching band received new polos two years ago, and will be receiving new jackets this year.

The Lynbrook High School Mega-Reunion is for the graduating classes of 1968 through 1979 and is held every 10 years.
