Concert Attire Care Guidelines
Concert Attire is required and needs to be well taken care of to be in perfect condition on concert days. These guidelines are applicable to all music students.
DO NOT keep your attire in a car between performances. Your attire may get moldy and smell. This damages the fabric.
When not in use please put Shirt, Dress, Pants, Tux Jacket on a hanger to air them and keep them wrinkle free.
Please button up the Shirt and Jacket when hanging up.
Keep shoes clean and polished for every performance.
Keep socks washed and ready for the next performance.
Wear athletic undergarments to make it easier when changing clothes (on away performance days, students may need to change into and out of their attire on site)
Hair must be well groomed and kept out of the student’s face. Long hair should be pinned up, as the coat collar should be visible. Students with long hair must have their hair tied; boys need to be clean-shaven.
No makeup, no jewelry, hair ornaments, colored nail polish or earrings are allowed.
Please use caution when eating or drinking while in your attire.
Make sure your shoes have your name on them (not visible on the outside)
For hygienic reasons, please always wear underwear while wearing all attire.
